We are delighted to share a recap of the memorable moments from the CLN 21st Annual Partnership Meeting, held in Danang, Vietnam, in conjunction with Magenta Logistics Network. This conference marks a special milestone for us as it is our first collaboration with one of our sister networks representing then Women’s Logistics Networks, with a remarkable attendance of a total of 274 freight forwarders from across the globe.

Our conference commenced with the exciting CLN Fellowship Golf Game at Legend Danang Golf Resort. Congratulations to the winning team consisting of Jinsoon Kim of AGL Co., Ltd. from South Korea, Young Kim of Bright Star Logistics from South Korea, Felipe Mazzini & Mariano Figueroa of Silver Freight Logistics SRL from Argentina. They indeed swing their golf clubs for championship!

The opening session featured a traditional Vietnamese performance, followed by updates from Nils Walle, CLN director & co-founder, with a photo opportunity and some introductions from the sponsors. Afterwards, we had a Community Open Mic, concluding with our official CLN group photo.

Decked in Tropical Beach Wear, delegates enjoyed a memorable opening cocktail reception with the Women Freight Forwarders of the MAGENTA Logistics Network. CLN & MAGENTA delegates relished networking opportunities in a Tropical-Themed Opening Cocktail! With special dance & band performances, it was truly a remarkable Opening Night! The heart of the event, Face-to-Face Meetings, provided a platform for fruitful connections and collaborations among 270+ freight forwarders from CLN & MAGENTA across the globe. Together, they built new connections, rekindled old ones, and forged lasting friendships! More than doing business, CLN conferences are where friendships are made!

Another successful social activity for CLN! Delegates sang and danced the night away throughout the CLN Club Night at Sky36, the highest Skybar in Vietnam! With special participation from Christian Raeuber, one of the founders of CLN, this time not as a Director but as a DJ of the CLN Club Night!

The CLN Olympics added a fun element to the conference, with freight forwarders competing in Beach Football, Beach Volleyball, and Beach Badminton. CLN Freight Forwarders ran, rolled over the sands, spiked, saved, and scored goals during the friendly tournament! It was truly an enjoyable morning and afternoon sports session in between the Face-to-Face Meetings. The winning teams for each category were as follows:

Delegates who selected to join the City Tour enjoyed exploring the scenic scenery and history of the Lady Buddha Danang and also passed by the Dragon Bridge. It was indeed a delightful experience!

The 3rd day of the conference was indeed one of the busiest, but that didn’t stop the CLN & MAGENTA delegates. With full energy, the delegates had a blast during the CLN Sunset Cocktail Awards at the beach area of the Furama Danang Resort! Jam-packed with singing & dancing, the night was also extra fun as Loyalty & Specialty Awards were given out! A big thanks to our Sunset Cocktail Awards Sponsor, ILG International Logistic Gateway GmbH from Austria!

The Specialty Awards were awarded to Chris van Mullem of AAS Logistics as the 1st to register for the event; Raj Sobhani of Perimeter Global Logistics as the 1st registrant to pay for the event; Sunmee Seen of KPL VIETNAM CO., LTD. as the Early Bird in the Joint Cocktail Reception; Anan M of Transpeed Cargo (S) Pte Ltd as the Last Man Standing. Felipe Mazzini of SILVER FREIGHT LOGISTICS was also awarded the Longest Flight, and Michael Porret of International Cargo Express as the Best Personality.

The event culminated with a closing toast at the CLN Happy Hour, sponsored by International Cargo Express, serving not just cold, but ICE-cold beers! It was a fantastic celebration of partnerships and friendships forged during the conference.
